Large Capacity let down!

the washer senses the water level based on the weight of your clothes & rarely adds enough water cover the dirty clothes with water! i don't feel like my clothes come out clean! i even tried the pre-soak that was a joke, i put sheets that had urine on them on pre soak, after the wash i could still smell urine!! i have to fill gallon jugs of water and wet down my clothes before i begin the cycle or not enough water is added to adequately clean our laundry. then if it begins the wash cycle and you forgot to add an item and you pause so the child lock will release to add it; the machine completely drains and starts over! hate this machine, it looks fancy but it's a joke! i am replacing this asap! we left it for this hunk of junk that we thought was fabulous when we saw it!

Would NOT buy Samsung again

advertised as having extra room for extra capacity, but we are experiencing having to do smaller loads than what we have in the past with a smaller capacity washer so we do not over load it. the gears for the motor have started to wear out, and make noise, within less than a year. it is getting progressively worse and now is unable to make it through a full wash cycle because the gears are worn out and it is giving a ub code (unbalanced load). it looks nice, is quiet enough, and makes cute chimes when it is done, but it has worn out very quickly. it has been a disappointment and big frustration.

it was a waste of money, i have owned and been using for 2 years now. I will never buy another samsung washer. it has never cleaned clothes well, has a hard time sensing the water needed and the actual metal around the bleach tray is rusting away. oh and now the motor sounds like is it slipping when trying to spin the drum. honestly buy another brand wash machine because you should be able to expect your appliance will last more than 2 years.

i was so excited to buy this washer dryer combo i had it for 2 1/2 years and the washing machine will not spin. i'm no longer under manufacturer or store warranty, so i cannot get the washing machine fixed or replace without a major fee i thought washing machines are supposed to last at least 10 years not 2. especially for a samsung.

agitator keeps popping out wrapping around clothes

dryer went out. i went to get replacement, i chose samsung. thought they had a good product. didn't need washer but replaced when replaced dryer. the washer has been the worse investment & waste of money. trying to confirm when bought-guessing last 3 yrs. over the last 1 1/2 yrs the agitator would come out of the bottom & wrap around clothes. it is doing it probably 2/3 loads regardless of size or spin cycle. going to replace the agitator. hope that corrects. the current one doesn't show wear to cause it to spin itself out of the drum & around clothes. i agree with the others, it just spins the clothes around & doesn't agitate to wash like the older washers did. i cuss this thing about every time i use it. shouldn't have to put parts back before washing the next load.

bought this washer for around $600 at the end of 2019, started getting errors about a minth after our one year warrantt expired. texhnician xame to fix washer and told us our cold/hot lines were swapped, changed them over and then left. the washer continued the same error and has basically been a hige waste of money. do not buy.

i love my samsung washer. very pleased with its performance. i'm curious to why so many negative reviews regarding water levels and noise. i was looking out for such but it hasn't happened (amen). it's quiet so the vrt works great. i also like the ability to look at my load through the top so no water level issues. yes, some of the cycle selection are long but there's always that quick wash. i habe tried all the cycles including the self-clean. my clothes, blankets, bath rugs, kids cleans are clean and fresh...which is the goal. i'll update in a few months to see if i feel the same way but for now, 5 stars!

Okay washer - poor reliability

the washer itself was fine and did an okay job of cleaning our clothes. the main issue and the rationale behind the poor rating is the quality and reliability of the instrument were terrible. after a year we had an issue with a leaky connection that we managed to fix. after 2.5 years the main board was fried and we were left on our own to fix it or pay a 3rd party company $500+ to repair a $600+ washer. really disappointed in the quality and will not be buying a second samsung washer

after two years i still really dislike this machine. wish i could afford to buy a different type. takes way too long to run a load. double to triple an agitator machine time. nice tub size, but always have to run it on deep wash to get enough water in tub. definitely does not spin out enough water no matter what cycle i use, so it's taking twice as long to dry clothes, which can be up to 140 minutes. very costly to run dryer that long. does not wash clothes as well either. i always have to soak towels and washcloths in vinager for hours, otherwise they come out smelling moldy. never had that problem before.

Constant UB and UR errors. More UR errors than UB. I first chatted with Samsung tech support and followed everything the tech said to do. No solutions. So now the first tech that came out to look at it found no mechanical issues, but adjusted the feet and said that we could only fill it to a third of its capacity. Still load errors. Second tech that came out also found no mechanical issues, but undid what the first tech did pertaining to it's level. Now every load is a UB and UR error. The UB we can deal with because it stops the cycle and beeps. But the UR error costs us money because it keeps filling and draining until we stop the cycle. Then our only option is to just put the dial on spin, shuffle the load and wait by its side to repeat this cycle until it works. Is there a way to disable the UR sensor? Or turn down the sensitivity.

We bought a Samsung WA7050 4.5 cu. ft. Top Load Washer Model Number: WA45M7050AW/A4 When we tried to use the Deep Wash setting, the machine flooded our laundry room. It was not even a large load. Since we were out of the 1 year warranty period, I had to call my Home Warranty company to find someone to service the machine. Cost $100.00 The verdict...the tech said Samsung has advised people to put a drip pan under this and other defective washers that they sell. I told him I looked my washer up on Samsung's site and was told that it was not included in the defective models...Well, apparently it is and I am out $100.00 and cannot use of one of the features we considered valuable when we bought the machine. What is Samsung going to do to keep me as a customer? I buy a lot of Sumsung products from phones, to TVs to appliances...Maybe I'll need to switch to another source for my electronics and other needs. I hope someone from Samsung will actually contact me and discuss this issue.

So disappointed in this washing machine. I already need to replace it. My clothes always have white residue on them and despite using additional rinse cycle clothes never seem clean. I have literally tried everything. I have had this issue since day 1. My mistake for not doing anything while it was under warranty, I travel a lot for work and time just got the best of me. I have had this washer a year and dealt with the washer NOT filling enough water in to clean clothes. Finally looked and saw that others had issues with the water sensor part so had repairman replace that. Still doesn't put enough water in. I just add about 2-3 gallons of water to the wash before starting so there is enough weight in the washer to fill adequately.

After painfully reviewing and shopping for a new set, I bought this washer with matching dryer. All my other appliances and tvs are Samsung. I spent tons of time researching soley based on finding a machine that doesnt vibrate. The Vibration Reduction Technology is a gimmick. This unit shakes everytime with every move of the tub. When it goes to spin cycle watch out, Im afraid it will vibrate it self apart. Doesnt matter if there are clothes in it or water or completely empty. The store I purchased from came out and determined it was excessive and sent me another unit. Same issue. Im afraid all machines are made so cheap they will all shake and vibrate. My old sets were rock solid, wish I kept them. Give me my money back!

I bought this washer a year ago and continue to try to like it but I just don't. You can never guarantee how much water the washer puts in a load. Sometimes it covers/washes the clothes and other times some of the clothes are totally dry. I have to monitor each load I do. Also if you change the type of wash you are doing (ie change from normal to heavy) the stupid washer empties whatever water that is in there and starts all over again. What a waste, Samsung does other products well but not washers apparently

Very disappointed. First of all the clothes hardly move around, Second.. the cycles take so long. Third...you need to use deep cycle to get water around the load.

my machine is only 17 months old, I've already had to replace the water level sensor and today when it was in the rinse/spin cycle i wondered what was taking so long and the water was about to overflow over the top of the tub again, so water level sensor wass't doing its job again. it appears there is no overflow sensor on this machine as it really did overflow when the sensor first failed. The washer only gets moderate use in a 2-person household. this was my first ever Samsung washing machine and it will be my last

Love it! along with the companion dryer. A tad noisy but hey, one can't have everything. I own more Samsung appliances along with TVs and my cell phone. Totally sold on Samsung, thanks Samsung!

Worst washer ever

This is by far the worst washer I have ever used. 8 out of 10 loads it gets unbalanced and has to fill with water again to rebalance itself. Except 50% of the time even that doesn't work. Since buying this washer, my water billed has doubled. I follow all the directions on how many items to put in, what type of items (ie: only 1 blanket at a time) and it doesn't matter. The washer is also perfectly balanced on the floor so that isn't the problem. It's just very poorly made in that aspect.

Samsung WA7050 4.5 cu. ft. Top Load Washer

I purchased his as a replacement for my frontloader and I am sorry that I didn't do more research. I purchased as a set with the dryer and am fairly happy with the dryer, but the washer doesn't stand up to the Samsung name. I use an enviromental friendly launder detergent which only requires 1 teaspoon of detergent per load and whenever I was darks, there is always a white residue left on the clothing even with using so little product! The loads take much longer than my previous washing machine, on average 55 minutes for a normal load compared to about 35 with my front loader. The machine senses the load and prior to water being put in it moves the laundry around in the tub and half the time it all ends up on one side which ends up in an unbalanced load. I also have watched a whole load go through the cycle and unless I do a deep clean, the loads don't get covered in water half of the time ( I did 2 sets of sheets on a normal load and it barely even covered the load half way) so the idea that you can do more laundry per load due to the large drum size is thrown out the window, because your items don't get covered in enough water to get a thorough cleaning. 4 item loads are about all that can be cleaned on a normal load. If i could, I would return this for a washer that wasn't so "smart" and get a plain jane washer

washer problems, growing issues??

The washer has an unbalanced load almost every time I load the washer. I try to use the capacity, but am lost as to how to load the washer correctly so it doesn't get unbalanced. ie. 4 pair jeans, 5 bath towels, small articles. It uses more water to correct the unbalance, that I choose to stop the cycle, and choose just "spin" to drain water and reposition, then finish the washing.
