So unhappy

I bought this stove less than two years ago. Like other reviewers mention: it is loud, the front design is poor and difficult to clean, and it cooks HOT. These things are irritating. But most of the time I can deal with them. What I canÕt deal with is the Òstainless steelÓ finish on the control panel peeling off. It looks like junk. I called customer service and was told it was a cosmetic issue due to normal wear and tear and not covered under the warranty. yes itÕs a cosmetic issue, but if IÕm going to pay over $2,000 for a range, IÕm going to expect it to hold up to normal cooking (which it should be designed to do no matter how much it costs). I asked to speak to someone else and was transferred to the corporate office. I was tediously explained how to care for my appliances, including using mild soapy water (I do) and then informed that my Òdetergent may not be as gentle as you think.Ó Actually, it is. I take very good care of my home, appliances included. And I donÕt enjoy being blamed for something that is clearly poor design. If the material is going to peel from Ònormal wear and tearÓ, why use that material? And why not replace the part after it fails? The best they could offer me was 50% off the replacement parts (this is happening to my microwave as well by the way). Why would I pay even more money for the same thing to happen? Yes, itÕs cosmetic. But thatÕs part of why we bought this model over a cheaper one. So disappointed. Will never buy from this company again. Unfortunately, I work at home and am forced to look at these cheap-looking appliances all day.

I bought this in November. The cooling fan that runs continually while the oven is very noisy. IÕve had it looked at and have been told that is just the way it is. Very bad design flaw. Wish I had not bought this stove.

This is my second range from Frigidaire. I loved the first one so much that when it was time to replace it I never considered another brand and this one is great too. You'll love it!

Stove top: - Grates with continuous surface make it easy to transfer burners. All burners work as stated - just wish simmer burner could be turned down a bit lower (this is my only negative!)Oven & broiler: Heats up and cools down very quickly. Broils nicely (I keep my dipped rack on 2nd slot). Bakes cookies and breads as well as large hams and primes rib perfectly. So easy to lift grates to clean stove top! Haven't used convection yet. I went from a 23+ year old, 26 apartment sized stove to this dream and I could be more happy with the purchase! it
