I bought this a few months ago and love it. It's nice you can change the burners on top and make it a griddle or you can grill on it with the grill top. The drown draft is a little hard to do though we still don't have that hooked up. But love it love it love it

Okay so I bought this cuz I owned a Jenn-Air and it was very good. This one is decent. I needed the down draft and they are the pro's. So I am about three weeks in. One of the units would not light. The Appliance center replaced it immediately. The knobs are cheap plastic and I know I will end up melting them. And the Grill unit says to not use tin foil which then creates a mess. The flame is good. The odd thing is that when you ignite one unit all the units spark. Anyway like I said it is decent.

We recently purchased a home. It had an old electric Jenn Air cook top. Neither Jane nor I like cooking with electricity. We opted to update and (we thought) upgrade to a new gas cooktop. The cooktop went right into the space the old electric occupied. It looks very good with the black and stainless steel. The burners, however, do not ignited very well. Some times it takes up to 10 seconds to ignite, causing a small poof because of the gas build up. The grill part lights better and burns a very bright blue, until something is placed on the grill and then the flame turns yellow. The grill seems to take longer to cook something than the old very well used electric grill. The grill was installed by a qualified installer and he did a very fine job. All in all, we thought we were purchasing a top of the line, high quality cook top because of the Jenn-Air label. We are quite disappointed.

This is the 3rd Jenn-Air stovetop that I have purchased over a period of 40 years. Nothing compares to the Jenn-Air brand. Easy to use, very versatile and makes cooking a breeze.
